On the way home, I walked around a bit. There was a symbol of the city I was in that was illuminated and the wet pavement around it shone in the light and it was also clear that this job just one part of life and even if it lasts a few years, it won't be forever. As long as I am happy with where I am going at the end of the day, and I am than I can keep slogging, at least for the moment.

and does your route take you through HD every day? because then i would be SUPER jealous. though really how much of heidelberg do you see from the train route..haha
My first day on my current job, they informed me I was going on a two-day business trip on the following day. This had been planned for the three weeks leading up to my start date, but they didn't bother to tell me until I actually started. The locals seem to have a wonderful way of throwing you into things, don't they?
