Last Sunday, we rode again to the in-laws. This is how I see my "wahl-heimat" in my mind's eye, even when it rains non-stop (see Pfingstwochenende 2007).
It does feel like we skipped over summer and went straight to fall. Nice thing about trading down to an apartment is that you no longer have to worry about a flooded basement ... oops, forgot that's where we stored all the extra furniture, so I've gotta run downstairs ;)

Yes, you forgot the pictures of the flooded basements and people being struck by lightning. :-) It's nice to pretend, though, isn't it?
